As elections near tensions run high and security forces continue their arbitrary sweep hauling in 7 members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Security services in the Ismailia governorate abducted 2 supporters of MB candidate MP Dr.Hamdy Ismail late yesterday evening, The Minya governorate also witnessed a security crackdown at dawn where forces stormed the houses and arrested 7 MB members.
 
Despite the procedures practiced against the MB the group was able to successfully hand in 133 applications at registration offices nationwide including 14 belonging to women nominees.
